About Closed Captions
Captions will only be displayed on content that supports captions. A ‘CC’ icon will display in the program information if captions are available.
Some apps may have their own caption settings that need to be turned on. For Closed Captions settings for individual apps, see the app's Help site.
Note: Closed Captions are not currently supported on the 9Now app through Hubbl.
How to turn on Closed Captions
- Press Home on the Hubbl remote and scroll down to Settings .
- Select Accessibility .
- Select Closed Captions and press Select to toggle the setting between On and Off.
Still not working?
Check another program to see if Closed Captions are working.
If they are, there may be a temporary broadcast issue with the show you’re watching.

Restart device
Restart Hubbl Hub
- Switch the Hubbl Hub off at the wall and after 30 seconds, switch it back on again. You do not need to unplug it.
- After a few seconds, you'll see the Hubbl logo on screen and the red or white standby light will come on.
- On the Hubbl remote, press the Home button to launch the home screen.
Restart Hubbl Glass
- Switch the TV off at the wall and after 30 seconds, switch it back on again. You do not need to unplug it.
- After a few seconds, you'll see the Hubbl logo on screen and the red or white standby light will come on.
- On the Hubbl remote, press the Home button to launch the home screen.
