Using Voice Control
Hands-free Voice Control is available on the Hubbl Glass, allowing you to speak voice commands without using the Hubbl remote.
Note: Hands-free Voice Control is only available on the Hubbl Glass. To use Voice Control on Hubbl (small device), use the Hubbl remote.
Select an option below depending on which device you have:
Voice Control on the Hubbl Glass
Make sure you’re within four metres of the Hubbl Glass and say “ OK Hubbl… ”, then speak your command.
Voice Control with the Hubbl remote
- Make sure the Hubbl remote control is paired to the Hubbl device. See Using the Hubbl remote for more information.
- Press the microphone button on the Hubbl remote and speak your command.

Check that Voice Control is turned on and working
If you’re using the Hubbl (small device), you can skip to the next step.
You can check if Voice Control is turned on and working either on the Hubbl Glass itself, or by using the remote:
Check on Hubbl Glass
- Find the two buttons on the right-hand side of the Hubbl Glass.
- Press the top microphone button.
A message will appear on screen saying that Voice has either just been turned on or off.
Check with Hubbl remote
- Press Home on the Hubbl remote and scroll down to Settings .
- Select Privacy.
- Select Voice Mics and make sure it's On.
- To check that Voice Control is working properly, hold the remote in front of you, then press and hold the microphone button and speak clearly into the microphone.
- Release the microphone button when you’ve finished speaking. You should see the search query on screen and then the results.
- If Voice Control still isn’t working on the remote, refresh the Hubbl remote by removing the battery cover, taking the batteries out and inserting them again. Press and hold the1and3buttons together on the remote for three seconds.
Restart device
Restart Hubbl Hub
- Switch the Hubbl Hub off at the wall and after 30 seconds, switch it back on again. You do not need to unplug it.
- After a few seconds, you'll see the Hubbl logo on screen and the red or white standby light will come on.
- On the Hubbl remote, press the Home button to launch the home screen.
Restart Hubbl Glass
- Switch the TV off at the wall and after 30 seconds, switch it back on again. You do not need to unplug it.
- After a few seconds, you'll see the Hubbl logo on screen and the red or white standby light will come on.
- On the Hubbl remote, press the Home button to launch the home screen.
