If you're seeing any of the following error messages, refer to the troubleshooting steps below:
- "No channels found. Go to settings to perform a channel scan."
- "Low or No signal - Please check your aerial connection or placement."
- "No signal. Check the TV aerial cable is connected, then go to Settings and select Local Channels to perform an aerial scan."
- "No signal."
- "There is a problem with your TV signal."
- "No digital terrestrial signal."
Check free-to-air equipment and connection
Check that you have the correct free-to-air equipment, including:
- an external TV aerial lead
- a TV aerial wall plate
If you have the above equipment, ensure they're connected correctly by:
- Disconnecting and securely reconnecting the side of the aerial that's plugged into the Hubbl device.
- Disconnecting and securely reconnecting the side of the aerial that's plugged into the wall.

Don’t have the correct equipment?
If you have a wall plate but not an aerial lead, you can purchase a lead from most hardware or electrical stores.
If you don’t have a wall plate, you can connect to free-to-air channels via the internet instead. For more information, visit Free-to-air live TV on Glass or Free-to-air live TV on Hubbl.
Complete a free-to-air scan
- Press Home on the Hubbl remote and scroll down to Settings.
- Select Local channels.
- Scroll down to Aerial Scan.
- Select Begin Scan.
Note: If you see a message to connect an aerial, refer to the previous step as the equipment or connection may not be correct.
Check postcode settings
Setting the correct postcode ensures you receive the correct free-to-air channels for your location, and allows you to receive accurate TV Guide listings and program times.
To check or change your postcode:
- Press Home on the Hubbl remote and scroll down to Settings.
- Select Local channels.
- Select Postcode.
- Check that the postcode is correct. This needs to be the postcode in which the device is located.
- If the postcode is incorrect, select Update postcode and enter the correct postcode.
Note: If you have multiple devices on your Hubbl account, each device will share the same postcode. This means a device located in a postcode that’s different to what's registered on your device will:
- not be able to pick up free-to-air channels (if connected via aerial).
- pick up the free-to-air channels local to the registered postcode (if connected via internet).
Restart device
Restart Hubbl Hub
- Switch the Hubbl Hub off at the wall and after 30 seconds, switch it back on again. You do not need to unplug it.
- After a few seconds, you'll see the Hubbl logo on screen and the red or white standby light will come on.
- On the Hubbl remote, press the Home button to launch the home screen.
Restart Hubbl Glass
- Switch the TV off at the wall and after 30 seconds, switch it back on again. You do not need to unplug it.
- After a few seconds, you'll see the Hubbl logo on screen and the red or white standby light will come on.
- On the Hubbl remote, press the Home button to launch the home screen.
Try FTA on another device
If you’re able to, try to access free to air via a different device. Select an option below depending on which Hubbl device you have:
Free to air on Hubbl
Try to access free-to-air via your TV directly by plugging the free-to-air aerial into your TV.
Note: Refer to your TV manual to determine which channel source you’re able to access free-to-air channels from.
If you're able to access free-to-air channels via your TV, continue with troubleshooting.
If free-to-air channels are also not working on your TV, there may be an issue with your free-to-air connection.
You can continue to access free-to-air channels by via the internet instead. See Free-to-air live TV on Hubbl for more information. Otherwise, you'll need to arrange a free-to-air technician to resolve your issue.
Free to air on Hubbl Glass
- SIf you have another TV, try to plug the free-to-air aerial into this TV.
- Try to access free-to-air channels.
If you're able to access free-to-air channels via another TV, continue with troubleshooting.
If free-to-air channels are also not working on another TV, there may be an issue with your free-to-air connection.
You can continue to access free-to-air channels on the Hubbl Glass via the internet instead. See Free-to-air live TV on Glass for more information. Otherwise, you'll need to arrange a free-to-air technician to resolve the issue.
