Setting the correct postcode and time zone ensures you receive the correct free-to-air channels for your location, and allows you to receive accurate TV Guide listings and program times.
You may need to update a postcode if you move interstate, or to a region that has a different time zone.
How can I update my postcode?
- Navigate to Settings from the home screen or by using voice search.
- Select Local Channels.
- With the Postcode option selected, select Update postcode.
- Press the Select button.
- Enter your new postcode using the numbers on the remote
- You’ll be asked to reboot the device so the channels for that postcode can be refreshed
If you have another Hubbl device on your account, it may take up to 24 hours for the secondary device to update to the same postcode.
Note: You can only have one postcode on your account.
How often can I update my postcode?
Changing your postcode is limited to two (2) times per 30-day period.
If you've reached the limit of two postcode changes within 30 days, please refer to the onscreen message on your device to find out how many days you need to wait before you can try again.
There’s no way to speed up this process, so you'll need to wait until the 30-day period has passed before trying again.
How can I update my time zone?
- Navigate to Settings from the home screen.
- Select Local Channels.
- With the Time Zone option selected, select Select Time Zone.
- Select the time zone that suits you.
- Once you’ve selected a different time zone, the device will need to reboot to update, select Reboot.
If you have another Hubbl device on your account, it may take up to 24 hours for the secondary device to update to the same time zone.
Note: Time zones will automatically update for daylight savings.
